AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION.

|l j NEXT TUESDAY'S PROGRAMME. . The matching of Snowy (Al) Clark, West Australian champion, with Neville Mudgway, New Zealand welter-weight champion, should prove a popular drawcard for the Auckland Boxing Association's carnival next Tuesday night. Another professional fight features in the same bill, in the Caltaux-Pluto contest of 10 three-minute rounds. Clark, on his first New Zealand appearance, knocked out Clarrie Rayner at the Town Hall last week. He is a lightweight and Mudgway will therefore have a distinct weight advantage, but the Aucklander will find the speedy Australian to be "a hard proposition." Tn the welter-weight bout Cyril Pluto will be keen to reverse the results of his last fight, and Caltaux will have to give a sound, exhibition to account for his crafty opponent. »
