BRIDGE AND MAH JONG.
ST. CUTHBERT'S OLD GIRLS.
An enjoyable bridge and mah jong party was held at the home of Mrs. S. J. Harbutt, Selwyn Road, Epsom, a member of St. Cuthbert's Old Girls' Association. Progressive games were enjoyed by those who did not play ™ S £' T The S uests were received by jmxs. o. J. Harbutt and her daughter, Mrs. Donald McKenzie. Bright wood fires in the drawing room and lounge where the tables were arranged, added to the atmosphere of the gathering The bridge conveners responsible for the arrangement were Mrs. Donald McKenzie and Miss Peggy Hume, assisted by Mrs. H. R. A. Vialoux and other members of the committee. Mrs. C. H. Leighton presented the following prizes to winners:—Contract bridge, Mrs. Albert Marshall; auction bridge, Miss Winnie Tippets; mah jong, Mrs. A. E. Moore, and progressive games, Miss Betty Guest. The president, on behalf of the members of the association, thanked Mrs. S. J.
