NATIONAL PARTY.
WOMEN'S ORGANISATION. REMUERA BRANCH SOCIAL. The Rialto ballroom and lounge were filled last evening when the women's organisation of the Remuera branch of the National party entertained over 300 guests at a bridge party. The entrance was daintily arranged in autumn tonings and yellow flowers were used in profusion on the buffet supper tables. Cosy chairs, carpeted floors and gleaming radiators gave a cheery warmth to the lounges. The committee comprise: Mrs. Gillies Martin, who wore black floral ninon; Mrs. E. M. Gould, black lace and Oriental coatee; Mrs. F. Curtis, black French crepe and floral corsage; Mrs. F. Cox, flame crepe suede, with cape shoulders; Mrs. H. G. Bell, raven's wing blue lace and crepe de chine; Mrs. Errol Hay, blackberry ring velvet; Mrs. J. M. Alison, floral taffeta and silver lame coat; Mrs. Russell Jones, blue and green tartan taffeta; Mrs. R. L. Clarkson, water lily green lace; Miss Henderson, blue and green patterned georgette Miss G.
