PONSONBY CLUB
The Ponsonby Model Yacht Club held two races yesterday nrternoon In St. Mary's Bay for 3-footers and 4-footers, both ' events counting in the finals for the championship of the season. There was a very light breeze from the north, and the goiiig was slow. Mr. R. Murphy's 4-footer Jewel, limit boat in her class, beat the scratch boat home to win easily. Three-foot Handicap. — Rhvthni (T Brown) 1. Ship of Joy (W. T. .Matthews) 2. Billy Bo.t (K. Ewen) 3. Rhythm counts 3 points for the championship. Four-footers.—Jewel (T. Ambrldge 1 Wnitere (W. A. Willetts) 2, Ariel (X. Buckland) and Clipper (W. T. Matthews) tied for third. The club will hold its semi finals on June 5, and expects to run off all finals on Monday, June 0. The officers of the day were Messrs.' Broun and M; McLean.
