NEW WOMEN'S CLUB.

At the New Women's Club last Friday, Mr. B. Pospisil gave an interesting resume of the present political situation in Czechoslovakia, and some aspects of the same which might involve other European nations. During the absence of the president, Mrs. W. B. Dnrlow, the chair was taken by Mrs. A. Gladding. It was passed by the meeting that a letter be sent to the Hon. Peter Fraser. Minister in charpre of Police, expressing the club's appreciation of the Government's proposed legislation for the establishment of women police.
