SCOTS' INGLESIDE.

NORTH SHORE CALEDONIANS. Instrumental and piping music entertained the large attendance of members and fnends at the monthly Ingleside of the society held in the Hall on Saturday night. The chief of. the society, Mr. H F W Meikle, and Mr. J. McTaris, of " the Sandrmgham Society, were played up to the platform. A telegram was received from the patron of the society, Captain J. A. Algie, regretting that he wu out of town and unable to attend the func- * ™T« Becreta T <>* the society, Mr. A. M. McGowan, gave details of the forthcoming combined societies gathering in the town hall. This was enthusiastfcally received judging by the number of tickets which were sold durinjr the evening. 8 The dance programme was interepereed by vocal solos by Mia« Beattie Marshal (Westmere) and dance items. Mr. J. Mcintosh made a efficient MC and had a busy time catering for the varied tastes of the audience. Supper arrangements were in the capable hands of the ladies of the committee.
