FIVE OF CREW DEAD.
Sequel to Fatal Assault On
American Liner.
RESCUE BOAT CAPSIZES. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, May 16. The American liner, City of Norfolk, from Baltimore, on arrival in the Thames, reported that following a fatal assault on a member of the crew, the assailant jumped overboard and was drowned in the English Channel. In a heavy sea a boat was lowered to his rescue but capsized and three were drowned. Thus five of the crew are dead.
