NATIONAL PARTY.
TAMAKI BRANCH. Addresses on the present political situation were given by Dr. Hilda Northcroft, Mr. W. P. Endean, M.P. for Eemuera (the old Parnell district), and Mrs. McCombs, of Devonport, at a meeting of the Tamaki branch of the New Zealand National party, held in the Peerleas Theatre, St. Helier's Bay, this week.
TAUPAKI BRANCH.
Despite the flooded condition of the roads a number of residents in the Taupaki district were present at a meeting in the Taupaki Hall this week, when a branch of the National party wae formed. The meeting was addressed by the Auckland divisional organiser, Mr. J. T. Nollon, who outlined the aims of the party and stressed the necessity for combined and organised effort on the part of those who are opposed to the eocialieation of the country.
