COL.. E. PUTTICK APPOINTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday.
The "Gazette" to-night announces the appointment of Colonel E. Puttick as honorary aide-de-camp to the GovernorGeneral, vice Colonel I. T. Stan'dish, who was last year appointed aide-de-camp additional to the King.
Colonel Puttick is adjutant-general and quartermaster-general in the New Zealand Military Forces, and second military member of the Army Board. He returned to New Zealand in January after an absence of about 18 months to attend an Imperial Defence College course at Buckingham Gate, England.
