King Zog and the Countess Geraldine Apponyi were married at a civil ceremony in the Palace studv. King Zog's witnesses were the Italian Foreign Minister, Count Ciano, and Prince Abfd, son of the Sultan, Hamid. Tirana is' given up to festivities.
