On completion of the main games at the Carlton Bowling Club on Saturday a social was arranged in honour of one of the club members. Mr. W. Whittaker, who was lead in the Dominion team which won the rinks content at the Empire (James. The Canadian team which rook part in the Empire Games ! was also prest-nt. and its members. Messrs. E. The final of the Grey Lynn Bowling Club's Anniversary Day tournament decided on i Saturday resulted in a win for Kennedy. Stock. I'rince and Walker, who defeated , Cox. Winter, Clarke and Dousan by 21 1 points to 19. '
