SERIES OF BURGLARIES. i FARM HAND FOR SENTENCE. I (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Friday. The sequel to the series of burglaries in the Hamilton district was the appearance in the Police Court this morning of Alton William Moyle, aged 22, farm labourer, who pleaded guilty to seven charges of breaking, entering and theft. The charges related to the breaking and entering of the office and garage of •Tames John Walker, of Hamilton on February 25, and stealing £73 5/; breaking and entering the store of George Owen, of Tamahere, on February 2S and stealing pipes, tobacco, cigarette, £3, and stamps; breaking and entering the premises of Ronald Hamilton Proudlock, cycle dealer of Frankton, on February 24, and stealing goods valued at £3 11/6; and breaking and entering Ebbett Motors, Hamilton, with intent to commit a crime. On the above counts Moyle wa« committed to the Supreme Court at Auckland for sentence. He was also charged with stealing three gallons of petrol from George Owen, of Tamahere, committing mischief by wilfully damaging a telephone box. and stealing 2/ from the Post and Telegraph Department. On these C&wges he was convicted and discharged. According , to. Detective Hayes the j accused admitted all the crimes, stating that he was accompanied by other* with whom he shared the booty.
