STAFF INCREASED.
LAW DRAFTING OFFICE. PRESSURE OF LEGISLATION. (By TeJeprapfo.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The appointment of Mr. D. J. Dalglish, of Wellington, as assistant law draftsman in the Law Drafting Office was announced to-day by the AttorneyGeneral, thtf Hon. H. G. R. Mason. Mr. Dalglish, who has already taken up his new duties, was formerly a partner in the lejral firm of Buddie, Anderson, Kirkcaldie and Parry. For many years past, said' Mr. Mason, the staff of the Law Drafting Office had been barely sufficient to cope with current work, much of which has entered on new ground. The result had been that previous legislation which had required bringing up-to-date had not been able to receive attention. He hoped that the strengthening of the staff of the office would enable the arrears in the Department to be slowly but steadily overtaken.
