OFFICERS ELECTED
N.Z. CON GREG ATION ALIST S. A decision to circularise among the various district committees the report of the public morals committee on the question of abortion was made at yesterday's meeting of the annual assembly of the Congregational Union of New Zealand. The following officers were elected to the assembly: Chairman, the Rev. Norman Burcess; union preacher, the Rev. K. A. Ball; moderator and secretary, the Rev. Harry Johnson; treasurer, Mr. T. Forsyth; editor of the "Congregational Monthly," the Rev. Frank de Lisle; director of youth work, the Rev. ,J. Milburn Stewart. The next assembly will be held in Timaru.
