A high standard of dramatic performance was reached bv the Auckland University College Drama Club in a presentation in the college hall last even'ng of Oscar Wilde's tliree-act eomedv, "The Importance of Being Ernest." " Th -re was a crowded audience, ificluding maw students. Leading members of the st were Mr. B. Heerdegen, as John Worthing, Mr. D. Clouston, as Algernon Moncrieff, and Miss J. Grevatt, as Ladv Blacknell, and the producer was Miss M. Best. The less important part* were also capably filled.
