DISPOSAL QUESTION.
ROWING CLUB'S FUNDS. MEMBERS REACH DECISION. (From Our Correspondent.) CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. A meeting of financial members of the Lyttclton Rowing Club was held this week to decide what the liquidators should do with the balance. of money in hand, amounting to over £20Q. Mr. J. Davis presided over an attendance of eight members. After some friendly discussion it was decided to distribute the money, but to whom it will go was not disclosed. Members said that the meeting bad been most satisfactory and that the public, when they were made aware of the decision, would be satisfied. The club some months ago wound up because of lack of members, and a certain number of financial members considered that they were justified in claiming portion of the balance in hand in accordance with the rules of the club. The matter was taken to the Supreme Court, and last night's meeting was the outcome of the esse.
