Summery Ensembles For Takapuna Meeting.

Despite the hot sunshine many racegoers wore their light linen and tweed suits to-day at Ellerslie, -when the Takapuna Club held the second day of its summer meeting. First in favour ware the floral frocks, many of the patrons having a redingote of georgette or taffeta and the hat of the same material. Accessories of brown with blue or green linen suits looked decidedly and for coolness many wore a smart type of sandal shoe. A feature of the meeting was the beautiful floral decorations used on the tables and at various sections of the stewards' and members' dining rooms, while an added cool ""fleet was given to the looms by huge hanging baskets of maidtnhair fern aud some lovely coloured foliage.
