YOUNG STOWAWAYS.
CAME ON WANGANELLA. SYDNEY YOUTHS REMANDED. Two Sydney youths, Kenneth William Le Sueur and Maurice Archibald Donald Carlisle, arrested on arrival- of the Wanganella from Sydney yesterday afternoon, appeared 4 in the Police Court to-day and were charged with stowing away on the vessel on January 3. Sub-Inspector Fox said each of the two accused was 17 years of age. They went on board the Wanganella two hours before the ship sailed from Sydney and surrendered themselves to the officers ufter the ship had cleared Sydney. On the application of Mr. Fox the youths were remanded in custody until Monday. He said that no doubt they would be returned to Australia.
