DIVORCE PETITION.
PITT-RIVERS CASE LISTED
(Received 12 noon.) LONDON, January 5. A petition for divorce will be heard at the next sessions of the Law Courts by the wife of Mr* G. H. L. F. PittRivers, noted author and scientist, who will contest the action.
While Governor-General's private secretary and A.D.C. in Australia some years ago, he interested himself in Antipodean anthropology and ethnology. Later eugenics and psychology were subjects on which he wrote. He is a considerable landowner in Dorset and Wiltshire.
