Reading "Fair Play's" letter re the reclassification pay which was definitely promised betore Christmas reminds me that no one .-eems to be bothering very much about the casual employee. When all the talk of "rises" i be back-dated from April ]. 1937. was ;on. _Ir. Ravage was quoted, in your paper, as .:>a.vmg the treatment- wouM he the same for | ali "jtermanents and casuals"—btrt up to the | present no one seems to know when and how , the casual man will get anv rise. Perhaps Ihe meant next Christmas? ' I A CASUAL'S WIFE.
