CLYDE COLLISION.
STEAMER FROM NEW ZEALAND

LONDON, January 4,
The steamer Hertford, from Auckland, collided on the Clyde with the motor vessel Moveria.
The Hertford was damaged above the waterline and steamed to Glasgow, where she will be inspected.
The Moveria's damage is not known She went on to Liverpool.
The Federal Line steamer Hertford (10,922 tone) is well known in Auckland. She left 'here on October 29 for London and west coast ports, arriving at London on December 12. She was scheduled to leave Liverpool for Auckland on January 29, being due here on March 10.
