ATTITUDE TO LEAGUE.
BRITAIN AND POLAND. British Official Wireless. RUGBY, December 21. Questioned on a recent statement issued in Warsaw on Polish relations with the League of Nations, Mr. Eden reminded the House of Commons of a statement issued by the Foreign Minister, Colonel Beck, and himself a year ago on the occasion of the latter's visit to London, when they recorded the opinion that nothing would be more fatal to the hopes of European appeasement than a division of Europe into opposing blocs. The Polish Government was aware that the attitude of the British Government on this point had not changed.
