transfers announced.
A number of transfers in the Customs ouse in Auckland lias been announced, ihe assistant sub-collectors, Messrs W H. Lewis and W. C. Thomas, have been transferred as sub-collectors to Dunedin and Napier respectively Mr. P. D Jones, an examining officer, has been transferred to Xelson as a sub-collector and Mr. H. Wild, also an examining officer, lias been promoted to an assistant sub-collector at Auckland. Mr. O. M. Ct. Richardson, an examining officer at Wellington, will enter the Auckland office as an assistant sub-collector.
