Plan* for the near future of the Auckland Provincial Freedom Association

This tank has now been satisfactorily accomplished, and it is pleasing to be able to state that all those gentlemen who were asked to accept office have agreed to do so. '"It. is possible to say that the association will have the services of a l>ody of men- who will be representative of city and country interests, and who will make an instant appeal to the trust and confidence of the public." Formal Appointments. It was proposed to hold the inaugural meeting as soon as possible after the holidays were over, and to proceed at once to adopt the reports of the committees and to make the formal appointments of the officers. Thereafter an immediate start would be made with the normal activities of the association. Tn the meantime, letters had been pouring in from all parts of the Dominion, and there had been widespread approval <>f the project, coupled with a ready desire to help in every possible way.
