When the Auckland Gun Club held Its • Christmas shoot on Saturday the results , were: — Three-bird Eve-opener.—E. J. Schofield (23yds), A. U. Wells (21yds), R. K. Farrow I (23vds), W. Turner (25yds), ,T. Dolisoii i (24yds), L. Bedford (22yds>, R. H. Hartley ("lvds), P. Newcouibe (22yds), IJ. Ewing I (27yds), P. North (20yds), K. Cathcart (23yds), and G. Moore (21yds), each shot the possible. Club Championship (ten birds, all ; shooters off 28yds).—P. North and P. New- i combe each secured the possible. In the shoot-off for the Hazard Silver l'lieasant, | decided annuallv at tills shoot, and an addi- i tional club's trophy, Newcouibe missed the loth bird. North secured his. and in doing so established a record, this being bis third year in succession to hold the memorial trophy. In this shoot D. Ewing, E. Monteith, W. Turner. E. J. Schofleld, ] K. Nehoff each secured nine birds. ; Seven-bird Match (for Mr. F. E. McKenzie's trophy). —J. Donnelly (25yds), It. lE. Earrow (24yds), W. Turner (25yds), B. Hanigan (23yds), E. Cathcart (23yds), G.
