German writers express grave reflections against English fairness as a result of last night's boxing contests at the Albert Hall, when a British team beat a German team by seven bouts to five. Horr Metzner, the National leader of boxing in Germany, alleged that the judging was biased, and that there were two false decisions. SCHMELING FIRST. LOUIS' CHALLENGERS. NEW YORK, December 19. The Washington Boxing Commission, which recognises Joe Louis as the world's heavy-weight champion, rates Max Schmeling as the leading challenger for the title. Tommy Farr is placed second and J. J. Braddock sixth.

There is a possibility that Bacr will oppose Louie prior to Schmeling meeting the negro champion. John Henry Lewis (light heavy-weight champion of the world) secured a decision on points over Johnny Risko in a light-heavy-weight contest over ten rounds.
