At yesterday's sale of sheepskins and hides, held by Auckland brokers, there was a 'Steady demand for all classes of hides, with "values slightly easier. Dry and salted skins were firm 011 late rates and tallow unchanged. Following are today's, quotations: — Sheepskins.—Dry: Halfbred, B%d per lb; fine crossbred, BV£d; medium crossbred, 7Vfed; coarse crossbred, 6%d; half to three-quarter wool, 6%d; quarter to half wool, 4%d to 5%d; quarter wool and pelts, 3%d to 4%d; lambs, sprinn. 3d to 5%d.
