FOR CHINESE WORKERS. A wood response is being made by unionists throughout New Zealand to the appeal by the Federation of Labour for medical aid for Chinese workers injured in the present fighting. Members of the Auckland Timber Workers' Union employed in the city have already subseribed £15 to the fund, and it is anticipated that this sum will be considerably augmented when subscription lists are received from country members.
