Questioned in the House of Commons Mr. Eden said there had been a very large number of cases of interference with assets of British companies in Spain.

The agency of the Spanish Government reports that a convoy of insurgent merchantmen, escorted by three Italian destroyers and two German submarines, unloaded at Cadiz 1000 field guns and 10,000 tons of war material. It asserts that 5000 Moorish troops are landing daily at Algeciras, on the south coast of Spain, from Ceuta.
