Janvv Gcrrard Burton, stnble hand, stated that he was walking wlih deceased on the siiinplc on the side of the I road when Taylor was suddenly swept ' from his side. Witness estimated the speed of accused's ear at between 40 and 5U m'lfs an hour. The car, he said, | slackened speed after the impact. Witj ness c'uincd the vehicle, which later I accelerated and disappeared. i Taylor was thrown to the side of the road, receiving injuries' from which'* he I' died later. The case is proceeding.
