MARKETS QUIETER.
WALL BTREET SETBACK. (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, November 25. The London stock markets were quieter and more irregular towards the end of the day on account of a setback on Wall Street overnight. Nevertheless, the undertone is markedly confident. After a period of depression and falling prices culminating in "Black Monday" this week, the London markets began a sharp recovery on Tuesday, supported by a stronger tone in commodities. Evidently the rising trend has received a slight check due to New York weakness, hut the markets are still strong.
