THEFT OF MONEY.
FARM HAND IMPRISONED.

OTOROHAXGA, this day.
Before Messrs. R. Bell and W. Blnck, J.P.'s, this morning, Richard Bell Eaglesham (24), was convicted on two charges of theft of money.
The evidence showed that accused was employed as a farmhand by Mr. Alderson at Kiokio, and received £2 10/ a week. He occupied a room with John McDonald, from whom he stole the money. Accused, it was stated, was on license and had a list of 16 previous convictions extending over three ; ears.
The Court sentenced accused to three Dionths' hard laTwur and ordered the return of one £1 note recovered and the restitution of £1.
