ROTARIANS AT LUNCHEON.
GUESTS FROM OCEAN LINERS
The presence of overseas steamers in Auckland to-day assisted towards a capacity attendance at the weekly lunch meeting of the Auckland Rotary Club, held in Milne and Choyee's reception hall. The president, Rotarian Harold Thomas, occupied the chair. Amongst the visitors were: Messrs. Harold Mills (London), T. B. Seydel (Atalanta), W. Cunningham (Seattle, U.S.A.), I. R. N. Alford (Toronto), J. H. Macdonald, J. G. McConville, A. R. Macfarlane (Vancouver), F. Bowker, H. Landon Smith. N. R. McMorran (Sydney), C. Griffiths (Haating*), R. Maddock (Gisborue), N. W. Stevens, J. Penman, G. A. CJennie (Wellington). W. N. Satterthwaite, H. Dillon (Dimedin), R. L. Drumniond (Wbangarei), W. R, C. Walker (Cambridge), A. J. McEldowney, C. H. Taylor (Christchiirch). H. Vernon (Roxburgh), Allan Jones (Masterton), J. D. Wilson (New Plvmouth), F. B. Barton (Gore), W. 8. Young. J. A. Norrie (Timarn), and Rev. J. A. Thomson (Invercargill).
The president welcomed Rotarians D. Henry, J. Kingston and J. Seabrook. who had been overseas. He mentioned that the next district convention would be held in Christchurch from February 22 to 25, and stated that a vi«it would be paid to the Ham'ilton club on the evening of Thursday, December 9.
