ROTARIANS AT LUNCHEON.

The presence of overseas steamers in Auckland to-day assisted towards a capacity attendance at the weekly lunch meeting of the Auckland Rotary Club, held in Milne and Choyee's reception hall. Alford (Toronto), J. H. Macdonald, J. G. McConville, A. R. Macfarlane (Vancouver), F. Bowker, H. Landon Smith. N. R. McMorran (Sydney), C. Griffiths (Haating*), R. Maddock (Gisborue), N. W. Stevens, J. Penman, G. A. CJennie (Wellington). W. N. Satterthwaite, H. Dillon (Dimedin), R. L. Drumniond (Wbangarei), W. R, C. Walker (Cambridge), A. J. McEldowney, C. H. Taylor (Christchiirch). H. Vernon (Roxburgh), Allan Jones (Masterton), J. D. Wilson (New Plvmouth), F. B. Barton (Gore), W. 8. Young. J. A. Norrie (Timarn), and Rev. J. A. Thomson (Invercargill).

The president welcomed Rotarians D. Henry, J. Kingston and J. Seabrook. who had been overseas. He mentioned that the next district convention would be held in Christchurch from February 22 to 25, and stated that a vi«it would be paid to the Ham'ilton club on the evening of Thursday, December 9.
