COMMISSION'S WORK.
BEGINS ON NOVEMBER 22.
The Auckland Drainage Commission will commence its sittings at the Town Hall on Monday, November 22. Composed of Sir Francis Frazer (chairman), Mr. J. W. Heenan, Under-Secretarv of Internal Affairs, and Dr. M. H. Watt, Director-General of Health, the commission was set up by the Government at the request of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board. It will take evidence and report on the boundaries and future administration of the proposed Metropolitan drainage district of Auck» land, together with the allocation of the costs of the proposed scheme among the constituent authorities.
