A cablegram to that effect waa received in Christchurch this morisjng from Mr. Robert A. Smith, of Los Angeles, who baa been responsible for the possible visit of the world's champion trotter. Whether the committee in charge of the inter-Dominion championship meeting will agree to give the amount required by the owner of Greyhouth to make the trip has not been determined. Provided satisfactory arrangements axe made two horses will leave America for New Zealand in December.
