ROTORUA HUNT.

LITTLE ANGLIA SCORES.

Mia Fratollo Successful.

The weather is showery for the Rotorua and Bay of Plenty Hunt Club's annual fixture at Rotorua to-day, and the track is a shade on the easy side. There- is a good attendance.

The programme commenced with the Hunters' Hurdles, and a warm favourite in Little Anglia duly scored decisively. She was always within striking distance of the leaders, and came away over the last couple of furlongs. Alio Lume ran a fair race, but the others never looked like threatening danger. Snow Trail was the first to show out, but passing the stands Air Commodore had charge from Illumaid, Little Anglia, Peter the Great, Snow Trail and Mio Lume. Inness Lad blundered at the fence in the straight, and Little Anglia then moved up sharply to be clear of Illumaid along the back, where the order following was Air Commodore, Peter the Great, who fell at this stage, and Mio Lume. Little Anglia led into the straight from Mio Lume, Illumaid, Air Commodore (who came to grief at the last obstacle) and Snow Trail. Nothing had a chance with Little Anglia, who went on to win easily by a length and a half from Mio Lume, who beat Snow Trail by three lengths. Illumaid was the only other one to finish. The Favourite Fourth. Ffiskland, a three-year-old filly from F. J. Tutehen's stable, who was making her first appearance, was installed favourite for the Innovation Handicap, a maiden event, and she showed a lot of speed till the straight, but had to be content with fourth place. Fairy Hill was the first to break the line from General Riske, Raceline and Sir Aee, but when they settled down along the back Friskland waa in charge from General Risks, Sir Aee, Abbey Lass, Highland Queen and Tahae Mea. Frisk-, land was two lengths clear crossing the top from General Riske and Highland Queen, followed by Abbey Lass, Free Advice and. Tahae Mea. Highland Queen then moved up smartly and Waa two lengths in front of Friskland at. the home turn,- and went on to win by -a length and a half from Free Advice, with Abbey Lees a head away third. Then came Friskland, General Riske, Raceline, Tahae Mea and Floodlight. Sandrift Falls. Mio Fratollo, who drew the rails, led all the way in the Haeremai High-weight Handicap. Passing the stands he was followed by Tralee Rose, Diacquedoon, Sandrift, Holly Lu and Simint, but going out of the straight Sandrift fell. Mio Fratollo was followed along the back by Tralee Rose, Modern Maid, Diacquedoon, Simint and Holly Lu. Mia Fratollo was first into line from Tralee Rose, Diacquedoon, Simint and Holly Lu, and went on to score by a length and a half from Dtaequedoon, with Simint a neck away. Then came Tralee Rose, Modern Maid and Holly Lu. The Bracelet. Say Boy and Tahae Mea carried meet money in, the Ladies' Bracelet, an event for which only four started. Illumaid was rather slow away, and Day Boy Went to the front from Air Commodore and Tahae Mea. There was little change when the straight was reached, except that Tahae Mea was second, and half-way down Tahae Mea challenged Day Boy, going on to beat him by threeJuarters of a length, with Air Commoon two lengths and * half away third.
