WRESTLING MATCH.

The match between Earl McCreadv and Lofty Blomheld for the Empire professional wrestling championship will be held this evening—tmt Decauee of the wet weather indications it has been decided ■to transfer it from Carlaw Park to the Town Hall. The match was to have been an open-air one, ajid it was anticipated that a record crowd would be in attendance, but the Auckland Wrestling Association (advised of the bad weather forecasts) decided that in the interests of the public the match should be held indoors. It was impossible to postpone the match ae Blomheld, who in Los Angeles in January meetu Bronko Nagureki for the championship of the world, sails on Monday for the United btates. The bookings are already heavy, and with the limotations of space at the ■n* n i_ Hall ifc k anticipated that there will be a rush for seate. The wrestlers concluded their training yesterday, and both are reported to be in the pink of condition. The old rivals should (rive a fine exhibition of wrestling, as in addition to the title aspect, particularly to Blomfield, I the challenger, the match carries a purse of £ 1500.
