TRAVEL CLUB TEA.
AN UNUSUAL ADDRESS.
The weekly morning tea of the Auckland Travel Club was held in the Milne and Choyce tearooms yesterday. Mrs. Elizabeth F. Wilson gave an address on the science of numbers. The honorary director, Mrs. Vict.tr Macky, thanked the speaker and introduced Miss Edith Lyttelton (0. B. Lancaster), the novelist, who made a brief speech. ■ Songs were given by Miss Kay Christie, who was accompanied on the piano by Mrs. M. Gully and on the violin by Mrs. Edwin Greenfield.
Among the overseas and out-of-town guests were: Miss Victoria Anderson and Miss Viola Morris (London), Mrs. L. D. Steel and Miss Irene Steel (Hamilton, ; Scotland), Miss Blanch Jenkins (England), Mrs. E. Bartholomew (Melbourne), Mrs. George Thompson and Mrs. Hamilton Booth (Christchure!h). Mrs. H. Burgess (Thames), Mrs. Richard Hill (Dunedin). Mrs. D. L. Cameron and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bannister (Wellington), Mrs. Leslie Fairbrother (Waira-* rapa), Miss Cato (Morrinsville), Mrs. D. E. Mail (Coromandel).
