PENWOMEN'S CLUB.
ARTS AND CRAFTS EXHIBITION. The annual exhibition of the arts and crafts section of the Penwomen's Club was held or. Friday afternoon, an interesting and varied selection of work being shown.
Among those exhibiting were:—Mrs. O. M. Tonkin (floral calendars and pictures of native flora), Misses E. and W. Melville (decorated native wood boxes, leather and metal work, hammered brass and pewter work), Mrs. Harrison-Smith enamelled brooches and floral calendars), Miss Jocelyn Harrison-Smith (textile designs of native flowers), Mrs. A. CarrWarren (portraits, still life and monochrome heads). Miss Mamie Spicer (barbola and leather work, enamel ware, landscape and still life pictures), Mrs. Ryburn (flower studies), Mrs. C. Duckworth (landscape and flower studies), Mrs. Joy l'orter Field (landscape and figures). During the afternoon songs were contributed by Mrs. W. Osborne, and negro spirituals by Miss Punnett.
