MAGISTRATE'S COMMENT. LIVES IX LAND OF DREAMS. (Specinl.—By Air Mall.) LONDON, October 22. Described by the police as having "a mental kink which pave her a dual personality," Eileen Crowe, aged 18, was bound over at Sal ford and ordered to live where directed. She pleaded guilty to a charge under the Aliens Act of making false statements to the police, whom she told that her name was Christina Marietta Kouvoundjian. and that she was a French Armenian who had landed irregularly in this country from France. It was found that her parents lived in Cumberland. "At every place at which she has worked or resided," said DeteetiveIns[>ector C'leniinson, "she has lied repeatedly. At her last place of residence she said she was a State registered nurse, holding the degrees of C.M.8., MJ\S. and L.D.S. "To bolster up her lying stories she has even gone to the length of attacking the moral character of- her parent, added the inspector. "The girl lives in a land of dreams," said the magistrate, Mr. Macbeth, who added, "She really wants a spanking."
