EXTRA CLASSROOMS.
' ROTORUA HIGH SCHOOL.
GRANT OF £6000 APPROVED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) ROTORUA, thi« day. Advice has been received that the Minister of Education has approved a grant of approximately £6000 for the purpose of erecting four extra classrooms and a library as additions to the existing Rotorua High School building. The extra rooms will comprise an additional storey erected above the present main entrance and central classrooms. The library is designed to give accommodation for 5000 volumes, with modern furnishings and equipment. Overcrowding at the school ha« been the subject of urgent representations by the board of governors for some time past, and the news that a grant had been made was received with great satisfaction by members of the governing body.
