TEAM FOR EMPIRE GAMES.
TWO AUCKLANDERS FOR SYDNEY

WELLINGTON, Monday,
The New Zealand Amateur Cycling Association's selectors. Messrs. T. M Robinson (North Island) and R. Hill (South Island) announced to-night the road cycling team to take part in the 100 kilometres massed start cycling event at the British kmpire Games in Sydney in 1938. The three men selected are F. J. Grose (Canterbury), J. Brown and R. S. Triner (Auckland).
Grose is regarded as the finest road rider New Zealand has seen in the last 10 years. He represented New Zealand at the British Kmpire Games in London in 1935. Brown is also one of the best road riders the Dominion has produced. He won the Auckland 100-mile provincial championship last month. Triner is one "of the most consistent riders on the road in Auckland this year. He was second to Brown in the Auckland 100-mile provincial championship and has held fastest time in the majority of Auckland road races this season.
