CONFERENCE PROPOSALS. At a meeting of the junior management committee and delegates last evening, Mr. I>. Wilkie presiding, a discussion took place on various proposals which are to come up for consideration at the conference with the Auckland Control Board next week. ELLERSLIE SCHOOLBOYS' PICNIC. The Ellerslie United Rugby-. League Football Ouh held its annual schoolboy picnic at Kastern Beach over the week-end. Sports were held and resulted as follows : Seniors, 100 yds: Taylor 1, McCarthy 2. Intermediate, 100 yds: Roberts 1, Norton 2. Seven-a side. 75yds : Whaley 1, McLeod 2. Seniors' steeplechase : McCarthy 1, O'Keefe 2. Intermediate steeplechase: McLeod 1. McLeod 2. Senior wheelbarrow race: Norton and <i. Chapman. Intermediate: McCarthy and K. Chapman. Threelegged race, seniors: G. Chapman and F. Chapman. Intermediates: Lumsden and McLeod. Maiden senior: Buchan 1, Mathews 2. Intermediate : Hook 1. Stenning •J. Junior seven a side: Wall 1, Boaden 2.
