DECISION IS UNANIMOUS.

LONDON, Septer/ber 13. After four months' work five mon and two women who form the Government Departmental Committee on Corporal Punishment have decided to recommend that magistrates should no longer have the right to order children to be birched.
The committee's report will shortly be presented to the Home Secretary, Sir eamuel Hoare.
