MAN FOUND HANGING.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBORNE, Sunday. The body of a middle-aged man named William Hankey was found hanging from a tree in Tiniroto, near Gisborne. Mr. Hankey, who had been a steward at the Gisborne Club for some years, left recently on account of ill-health, and had made arra. gements to take a store at Tiniroto.
