OARS AND RUDDER.
WAIHEKE DISCOVERT. A message was received at Auckland police headquarters this morning from Constable McKenzie, at Surfdale, that lie had been informed that an oar had been washed up at Awaroa Bay, Waiheke, and a rudder at Pupiki Bay. These fittings are believed to belong to the galley which capsized off Karaka Bay 011 Thursday afternoon with the loss of three lives. Constable McKenzie has asked residents of Waiheke Island to keep a look-cit in case any of the bodies are washed up on the beaches. The conis also making a thorough search
