FALSE PRETENCE.
TWO MONTHS' (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) .. . GREYMOUTH, Tuesday* A sentence of two months' imprisonment was imposed on Frank Bogue, 52, married, a labourer, by, Mr. Raymond Ferner, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court at Greymouth, on a charge that, betwefen July 16, 1930, and May 8, 1937, at Christchurch, with intent to defraud, he obtained from the Employment Division of the Labour Department the sum of £24 0/5, by falsely representing that he was unemployed and had no income during that period. " Accused pleaded guilty and elected to be dealt with summarily. It was stated that he was employed by the Public Works Department.
