News reaching Paris from Leningrad states that "Pravda" reports revolts having occurred in the Baltic Fleet after the return of the battleship Marat from the Coronation review at Spithead. Eight sailors, allegedly ringleaders of the Trotskyite plot, were shot , and 38 officers arrested. Twelve, after trial, were reduced to the ranks for allowing , the crew ashore during the visit toj Britain.
