MAUNGAKIEKIE CLUB. In the final of the handicap match-play competition for the Junior Cup. played by members of the Maunsakiekie Ladies" Golf Club. Mrs. A. V. Walker beat Mrs. S. W. Morley, 5 and 4. KING COUNTRY TITLE. MRS. h. McDonald champion. The Kins Country Indies' championship was won by Mrs. H. McDonald, a member r>f the Te Awainutu A team, with a score of 173. Mrs. P. R. Glanville. also of the Te Awamutu A team, being runner-up with a score of 178. Mrs. McDonald returned a card of 83 in the morning round and 90 in the. afternoon. The best net score was secured by Mrs. Mexted. of the Te Awamutu B team, a card of 141 boinpr returned. Mrs. Mexted plavs on a 26 handicap. The morninjr nwdnl round was won by Mrs. S. F. Wilson, with a rard of 88—18 — 70. Mi*e Cumpstone was the winner of the afternoon hojrey with a score of plus 3. Te Awamutu A won the teams' championship with a score of 737, Te Kuitl being runner-up with 741. Te Awnmutu B won the teams handicap with a ecore of 602. second place being secured by Te Kuitl with a score of 611.
