SPORTS TOURNEY.
COLLEGIATE CONTESTS. SOUTHLAND TAKE THE HONOURS. {By Telegraph.— Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Monday. Honours were even in the inter-college sports tournament in which teams representing the Christehorch and Southland Technical Colleges took part to-day, each side winning two games. The weather was fine and calm. The honours of the tournament have K»ne to Southland, which last Wednesday won three of its four matches against teams froni. Dunedin Technical College. At Dnnedin the home teams won three of the four games against Christchurch. The results of to-day's matches:— Rugby football: Southland 18, Christchurch 6. Boys' hockey: Christchurch 2, Southland 1. Girls' hockey: Southland 5. Christchurch 4. Netball: Christchurch 16, Southland 12.
